About me

I am a PhD researcher in Water Resources and Hydrology, within the broader field of Civil and Environmental Engineering, at the University of Stuttgart, located on the outskirts of the beautiful city of Stuttgart in southern Germany.

My work and broader interests lie at the intersection of hydrological science, data-driven methods, Artificial Intelligence (i.e. Machine Learning and Deep Learning), with a particular interest in water-related extremes such as floods and droughts, as well as broader challenges in water resources prediction and management. I enjoy collaborating on interdisciplinary projects that connect water science and emerging technologies with real-world applications and informed decision-making.

What I Work On

  • Hydrological Modeling & Data-Driven Methods

Combining process-based modeling, remote sensing, statistical analysis, and machine-learning methods to investigate hydrological systems.

  • Hydroclimatic Extremes

Investigating floods, droughts, and other extreme events using hydrological observations, climate data, and quantitative methods.

  • Climate Change Impacts

Assessing the effects of climate change on hydrological processes, water availability, and the frequency and severity of extreme events.

  • Water Resources Systems & Decision Support

Supporting robust water-management decisions through systems analysis, scenario evaluation, and integrated modeling approaches.
